Mallets Lane House, Suffolk
Mallets Lane is a split-level house built for private clients on a concealed position in the centre of a historic village on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
Nestling into a sloping site, the design incorporates an existing one-room garden pavilion, and is orientated towards the south-east, with spectacular sea views across marshes and saltings. The tapered masts which were constructed by local boat builders. The project was awarded The Daily Telegraph’s Timber Frame Award 2005.
