Nash Baker Architects are proud supporters of the charity Centrepoint. Last year Centrepoint supported over 8,400 young people, aged 16-25, in London and the north east of England. We are currently waiving our first consultation fee for local projects, and instead we are requesting a discretionary donation to this worthwhile charity via our fundraising page at Just Giving.
The first meeting with an Architect is often the most important step in a project and where we, as architects, can add the most value. During a typical 1-2 hour consultation we will discuss your brief, make a preliminary appraisal of the project, share our initial design thoughts; as well as touch on topics such as statutory approvals, planning policy, budget, timescale, procurement, our services, and other consultants services.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss your project.
More About Centrepoint:
Over 80,000 young people (aged 16-25) experience homelessness in the UK every year, and it’s getting worse. In just four years, the number of young people sleeping rough in London alone has doubled.
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. Their vision is to end youth homelessness but their mission, every day, is to give homeless young people a future.
Centrepoint’s work extends far beyond just providing a room. Their programme of support helps young people to get their lives back on track by providing counselling and psychotherapy, healthy living advice, access to education and work and mentoring support. Despite having some of the most turbulent life experiences imaginable,
Centrepoint’s programme of support – which has been developing for 45 years – means that 80% of young people who they support move on successfully to an independent adult life.
